Using AI for personal use I think is generally acceptable. Images are an interesting difference. They are fine to use to ideate or within a limited circle. For wider audiences, including social media, they shouldn’t be used. Use AI to figure out your idea, then go to an artist to have them do it for you. It’ll be better and you help support an artist.
